This rainbow trout is raised in Swope, VA by Jessie & Shane of Meadow Wood Farm. Fish is cleaned, gutted, vacuum sealed and frozen. Each unit weighs 1 lb.
To prepare: Filet the fish and use the head and bones to make fish stock. For fish stock just combine water, carrots, celery, onion, and fish head and bones in a stock pot and let simmer for a couple of hours. Season with salt and pepper.
